07/04/09 09:22
It’s time for another Geek Chic update

Outline for the TLDR boys
  • Road Show dates for summer added
  • Sultan price increases. Make a deposit to lock in price.
  • New Products are premiering all summer long
  • More website changes coming up

Our convention schedule for the summer is finalizing. Here is the current list of confirmed dates:

Emerald City Comic Con - Seattle, Washington - April 4-5
KublaCon - Burlingame, California - May 22-25
Origins - Columbus, Ohio - June 24-28
Gencon - Indianapolis, Indiana -  August 13-16
PAX - Seattle, Washington - September 4-6

We look forward to seeing you there!

Yes, the rumors are true, the price of the sultan is increasing. After doing everything to keep the price of a Sultan down for our first year we are forced to raise the price. I can assure you that we want to keep the Sultan as attainable as possible, but we must make tough decisions in order to assure that we are still making Sultans for many years to come.

Here is the good news. If you are  reading this you have a last chance to get the Sultan at our cost price. If you put down a deposit on your table before April 15 you will lock in the table price until you are ready to take delivery. I know some of you are engaged in remodels and some of you are still house shopping. If that means you won't be ready for delivery for 6 months or even more, we will still lock in the table price. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact sales ( niceguy@geekchichq.com )

Our convention season will see a flurry of new releases from the Labs here at Geek Chic. (Many of them not requiring significant loans to acquire.) Look for the first batch of releases after ECCC. More dice towers, game accessories, geek ephemera, and of course Furniture to serve your Geek Chic lifestyle.

In a commitment to find the web geek within, we are going to try some more consistent communication through the summer. Expect at minimum more updates about what we are doing in the workshop and labs.

From one geek to >1 others, thanks.
